The Fed reduced the benchmark lending rate by 1% to 4.25-4.5% in 2024.The Fed has indicated two more rate cuts of 25 basis points each in 2025. However, market participants are optimistic that the number of rate cuts may increase supported by a dwindling inflation rate.
