Meta slashes hundreds of jobs; layoffs hit multiple teams across the company: reports

Meta is cutting hundreds of jobs on Wednesday, the company confirmed to FOX Business.A spokesperson said the layoffs are part of ongoing restructuring efforts, noting that the tech giant regularly adjusts its workforce to better align with its goals. The company is also working to place some affected employees into other roles where possible."Teams across Meta regularly restructure or implement changes to ensure they’re in the best position to achieve their goals," the spokesperson said.
