Liebherr unveils new freestanding wine refrigerators

MIAMI, March 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Liebherr USA, Co. is introducing a new range of freestanding, multi-zone wine refrigerators from the Vinidor and Vinidor Selection series. Designed to store fine wines at their perfect temperature, the three new models ensure both optimal enjoyment and authentic taste. The elegant design, combined with strategic lighting, highlights the wine bottles beautifully.

The key to ultimate wine enjoyment begins with the ideal temperature. Liebherr's new wine refrigerators provide precise temperature control across two or three zones, adjustable from 41°F to 68°F, offering flexibility for a range of wine varieties. Each zone maintains a constant, accurate temperature, displayed digitally, ensuring that red wines, white wines, and champagnes can all be stored simultaneously at their ideal temperatures in one unit.

Enhanced Temperature Protection

Liebherr's TempProtect Plus feature provides double protection for temperature stability. With two temperature sensors continuously monitoring the climate, the wine refrigerators alert users when a temperature fluctuation is detected, ensuring the wines remain safe. In addition, a door and power failure alarm, supported by the SmartDevice feature, sends both audible and visual alerts, keeping your wine collection safe at all times.

Low-Vibration Storage for Preservation

All of Liebherr's new wine refrigerators come equipped with VibrateSafe technology, ensuring minimal vibration during storage to protect the integrity of the wine. A FreshAir filter in the zone separator provides added functionality, with a reminder to replace the filter when necessary.

In addition to providing optimal storage conditions, these refrigerators are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Rated EnergyStar, the Liebherr freestanding wine refrigerators are among the most energy-efficient in their class, offering eco-friendly performance without compromising quality.

Beyond performance, Liebherr wine refrigerators also offer exceptional aesthetics. The new series includes two models with SmartSteel doors and one with a GlassBlack door. The glass doors feature triple UV and safety glazing (UVProtect Plus), while the SmartSteel models include a slimline handle with an integrated opening mechanism, allowing for easy access even after repeated use. The GlassBlack version boasts a recessed vertical handle for ergonomic use from any angle.

One standout feature of the Vinidor Selection models is the LightTower interior lighting, which offers adjustable dimmable presentation lighting on both sides of the unit. For sommeliers, the triple-zone Wgb7470 model in the Vinidor Selection series features an exclusive sommelier board. This natural beechwood board provides space for decanting essentials and includes a stainless-steel bottle presenter, a wooden box for decanting tools, and a section for tempering wine glasses—adding an extra layer of luxury to your wine service.
