Kramer Unveils Labeled USB-C Cables to Streamline Pro AV System Installation and Maintenance for Integrators and End-Users
Video, Data and Charging Icons Appear on Fortified K-lock Connectors of New USB 3.2 Gen 2 Cables to Reduce Integrator and End-User Confusion
CLINTON, N.J., March 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Identifying the correct USB-C cables for each installation just became easier with Kramer's introduction of new 3.2 Gen 2 cables with icons on their connectors indicating their ability to support video, data and charging.
With the new C-U32/MFF USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ passive cables, there's no more guessing once the original packaging is gone. The cables provide bi-directional plug-and-play connectivity for the delivery of 4K@60 4:4:4 video, fast data transfer between PC, Mac and mobile compatible devices and monitors, web cameras, printers, scanners, keyboards and other devices.
Offering great efficiency, they feature transfer rates of up to 10Gbps (between USB 3.2 hosts and devices), as well as rapid 100W power (5A, 20V) charging that keeps devices powered up and ready to go.
Kramer's K-lock connectors offer up to 5 pounds of pull resistance against being accidentally disconnected. The cables are made of micro coaxial wires with triple shielding to help prevent electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable data communications.
"At Kramer, we're committed to intuitive, user-friendly product design," said Amit Ancikovsky, president, Kramer Americas. "Our new USB-C icon labeling system reflects our dedication to clarity and efficiency. Integrators and end-users alike can now rest assured that they have the right cable to do deliver the required data, video and charging—and stay connected in challenging environments."
The Kramer cables feature USB backward compatibility (1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0), are RoHS REACH compliant and are available in lengths of 6, 10 and 15-foot, or 1.8, 3 and 4.6-meters, respectively.
