HC x CHG Announces Leadership Transition: Ed Cooper Appointed as Chief Executive Officer
TWINSBURG, Ohio, Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- HC x CHG, a leading North American manufacturer of horticultural and decorative containers, announced the appointment of Ed Cooper as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 25, 2025. Cooper succeeds Bob Mayer, who will transition to an advisory role after leading the company since April 2020.
Cooper brings extensive experience driving commercial growth in multiple sectors, setting brand, marketing and product strategies, and overseeing supply chains. He most recently served as CEO of Mon Chateau LLC, a global leader in the design, marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products for the home where he launched Guy Fieri's Flavortown brand of cookware and appliances in 2023. Over his 23-year career at Newell Brands, Ed worked on iconic brands globally in multiple categories such as Sharpie and Papermate in the writing business and Calphalon, Food Saver, and Mr. Coffee in the small kitchen appliance category.
