It's difficult to find many assets that have performed as well as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC). In the past five- and 10-year periods, the world's top digital asset has rocketed 840% and 44,020% higher, respectively, even though it trades about 12% below its peak of  $109,000 reached in late January (as of Feb. 11).The market remains bullish, however, as we look at the rest of this year. It's worth mentioning that 68% of cryptocurrency investors think Bitcoin will hit $200,000 in 2025. That type of gain isn't out of the ordinary, as Bitcoin soared more than 100% both in 2023 and in 2024. But it's important to consider the downside, which can help you size a position accordingly.
