Well Behavioral Health Expands Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Offerings with New Trauma & Eating Disorder Treatment Track
A flexible, integrated IOP track combining trauma-focused groups with personalized eating disorder support.
NEW YORK, April 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Well Behavioral Health is proud to announce the launch of its new Trauma & Eating Disorder Treatment Track, beginning May 5, 2025, as an expansion of its existing Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This specialized track merges the structured, flexible eating disorder support offered by the EDRS IOP with the cohesive trauma treatment model of the Sanctuary Trauma IOP — offering clients a fully integrated, personalized healing experience.
The program provides clients with access to core trauma-specific groups, including:
- Finding Solid Ground
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): Stuck Points
- Somatic Resourcing
- Trauma 101
In addition to these set groups, clients can build their own schedule based on individual needs, such as:
- 1–2 supported meal groups per IOP day
- Eating disorder psychoeducation and process groups
- Weekly 1:1 treatment planning sessions
- Weekly 1:1 nutrition counseling sessions
"This track is designed for clients who need support treating both trauma and an eating disorder — not one or the other," said Well Behavioral Health Co-Founder and CEO, Greta Gleissner, LCSW, CEDS. "We've created a program that meets people where they are, blending structure with flexibility and clinical depth with real-world sustainability."
This track is intended for clients who are medically stable and do not meet criteria for inpatient or residential treatment. Referrals are now being accepted. To learn more or make a referral, visit www.wellbh.com or contact admissions@wellbh.com
