For over 20 years, Lazar has focused exclusively on employment and labor law across the public and private sectors. She spent the first half of her legal career in increasingly important positions at several administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Office of the Attorney General, the Massachusetts Department of Workforce Development, and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. After leaving the public sector, Lazar served as In-House Employment Counsel and Associate Director of Employee & Labor Relations at a large Boston hospital for over five years before moving into private practice.

She has experience in all aspects of the employment life cycle, from developing compliant HR processes and policies to helping clients find creative employment solutions to litigating complex labor and employment disputes. She is highly skilled at defending clients across a broad range of industries and geographic regions in employment litigation and labor arbitrations, and her first-hand understanding of key agencies gives clients an insider's view and advantage in navigating regulations and processes before these agencies. Lazar also has a strong background working with unionized workforces and excels at providing guidance to employers related to improving employee relations at the start of union activity. She is often called upon to first chair negotiations, ensuring her client's priorities are met at the bargaining table.

Lazar received her J.D. from the New England School of Law in 2000 and her B.S. from Bryant University in 1992.
