Global Road Safety Leaders Convene at 2025 World Traffic Safety Symposium During the New York Auto Show

NEW YORK, April 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As the New York International Auto Show celebrates its milestone 125th anniversary, one of its most vital and future-focused events returns to center stage. The World Traffic Safety Symposium will take place Thursday, April 17, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, bringing together some of the world's foremost experts in road safety, mobility innovation, and transportation policy.

This year's theme—"The Future of Vehicle & Road Safety"—will explore how data, artificial intelligence, public health initiatives, and smart infrastructure are transforming the way we move safely through our cities and communities.

Delivering a special video address will be Jean Todt, United Nations Special Envoy for Road Safety, who will share a global perspective on road safety progress and the UN's role in driving change.
