Global Outsourcing Leader Boldr Earns Minority Business Enterprise Certification
Minority Business Enterprise certification through Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council aligns with eight-year-old Boldr's core values as a Certified B Corporation
LOS ANGELES, March 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Boldr, a mission-driven global outsourcing leader, has earned certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council (SCMSDC). This national MBE designation, which Boldr received February 28, is recognized under the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) network.
"Now more than ever, companies must stay true to their values," says David Sudolsky, Founder & CEO of Boldr. "In a climate in which inclusivity and community investment are being challenged, Boldr remains unwavering in our commitment to social impact. Our MBE Certification signals to the people we create meaningful careers for, our clients – and the community – that we're a trusted source for diverse, ethical and socially responsible outsourcing solutions – proof that doing the right thing is simply good business."
MBE certification is granted to businesses that are at least 51% minority-owned, operated and controlled, validating Boldr's commitment to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in business. As an MBE-certified company, Boldr is part of the NMSDC national database, opening doors to new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and access to corporate procurement initiatives with specific budgets for MBEs.
"Many companies actively seek diverse suppliers, and this certification showcases our commitment to do well by doing good," says Deborah Hamill, Boldr's Senior Vice President of People & Places. "Organizations that prioritize social responsibility, justice, inclusion and sustainable growth want a partner who demonstrates the same. Boldr cares – and that matters."
This certification aligns with Boldr's core values as a Certified B Corporation, reinforcing its role as a leader in ethical outsourcing. By balancing impact, innovation and inclusivity, Boldr continues to set the standard for socially responsible business process outsourcing (BPO), ensuring opportunities reach underrepresented communities worldwide.
"Being recognized as an MBE enables us to further our mission of creating equitable opportunities while expanding our partnerships with organizations that value diversity in their supply chains," says Sudolsky. "It is a testament to our commitment to impact-driven outsourcing and responsible business practices. Through our Theory of Change, we've shown how investing in team development, hiring through underrepresented channels and upholding fair labor practices like 'living wage' directly benefits our communities, Boldr's bottom line – and the bottom line of our clients."
As affirmation of its impactful growth, Boldr is included on Inc. magazine's 2024 Inc. 5000 list, recognizing the nation's fastest-growing private companies; it is the company's third consecutive year on the list.
Boldr believes talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not, and is changing that paradigm by building global teams through ethical outsourcing, including paying a living wage in every country & region. In addition to being the largest global B Corp Certified BPO and the first B Corp Certified BPO in the Philippines, Boldr is a supporter of the Global Living Wage Coalition and the Living Wage Network, committed to social and environmental responsibility.
