SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The California Fire Foundation (CFF) is proud to announce significant progress in its ongoing efforts to support communities affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles County and Ventura County. In the two months since the devasting wildfires — CFF has raised over $20 million to aid relief efforts.
Immediate Relief Efforts
Thanks to the generosity of donors, CFF swiftly delivered immediate aid to those affected:
- Disaster Relief SAVE Cards: Distributed 7,263 Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency (SAVE) cards, providing over $1.8 million in financial assistance to nearly 23,000 families, including 4,837 children.
- Additional Support: Provided $500,000 in Uber Eats vouchers, $20,000 in Postmates vouchers, and over $54,000 in DoorDash gift cards to ensure access to essential resources.
Ongoing Community Support
The California Fire Foundation is now focusing on supporting long term recovery and relief efforts through a multi-year grant opportunity made possible by generous donations. The first round of grant opportunities will open with the California Fire Foundation's California Rises Disaster Relief & Recovery Grant Application process.
