100GROUP's FinTech-Powered Philanthropy: Making a Difference in 2024
MOORPARK, Calif., Feb. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Throughout 2024, 100GROUP demonstrated its commitment to community support and philanthropy, with a particular emphasis on spreading joy during the holiday season. From assisting families in need to supporting vital nonprofit organizations, 100GROUP's employees demonstrated an unwavering dedication to making a positive impact year-round.
Spreading Holiday Cheer Across Communities
The holiday season saw 100GROUP's Michigan and California offices come together to support two local single-parent families, ensuring they had gifts and essential items to celebrate. Employees thoughtfully selected presents tailored to each family's needs, including clothing, household essentials, and toys to make the holidays extra special for the children. Additionally, teams provided grocery store gift cards to help ease the burden of holiday meals, ensuring these families could enjoy a warm and festive season without financial stress.
"Giving back to our communities is at the heart of what we do," said Sarah McKee, Managing Partner of 100GROUP Michigan. "It was incredibly rewarding to see our teams unite to make a difference, especially during the holidays when so many need extra support."
The Atlanta team continued its annual tradition of donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, contributing to the hospital's mission of providing life-saving treatment to children, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
Kennel Connection, a leader in pet care software and a proud member of the 100GROUP family, participated in Giving Tuesday by donating $5,000 to RedRover, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of animals in crisis. With a matching donation from RedRover, the impact of the gift doubled to $10,000, extending emergency relief and care to animals in need.
Year-Round Commitment to Philanthropy
Beyond holiday giving, 100GROUP actively contributed to a variety of causes throughout the year. The company supported local small businesses, youth programs, and charitable organizations across multiple industries, reinforcing its mission to make a difference where it matters most. Employees also participated in fundraising events, volunteer initiatives, and sponsorships, further deepening the company's community engagement.
One of the most impactful initiatives came from the 100GROUP Michigan team, who led a major effort to support military families affected by Hurricane Helene, which devastated communities in September 2024. Employees organized a donation drive within the local Grand Haven community, collecting essential supplies—including diapers, bottled water, toilet paper, and baby wipes—before personally hauling the donations from Michigan to North Carolina. Their dedication and generosity helped dozens of military families recover and rebuild during a difficult time.
"Philanthropy is not just a seasonal effort for us—it's a core value that defines our company culture," said Jeff Brodsly, CEO of 100GROUP. "From helping families and supporting life-saving research to caring for animals and strengthening communities, our team is dedicated to creating meaningful change. We look forward to expanding these efforts in 2025 and beyond."
