Company Puts People to Work in Bay Area Housing Sector

SAN FRANCISCO, March 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- YUPRO Placement, the leader in skills-based job placement and career advancement, is pleased to announce its expansion into the property management industry. The company's new initiative in the sector highlights an innovative new partnership to prepare people in the San Francisco Bay Area who have personal experience overcoming housing instability for jobs in high-demand property management roles.

The leader in skills-based job placement and career advancement

The program is a partnership between YUPRO Placement and All Home, a Bay Area nonprofit organization advancing solutions to disrupt the cycles of poverty and homelessness, and to create more economic mobility for people with extremely low incomes. The partnership allows YUPRO Placement to expand its mission of hiring and advancing talent known as STARs–skilled through alternative routes–to the Bay Area's supportive housing industry. Together, the two organizations are creating and filling job opportunities that build communities.

"Our mission is centered on creating opportunities for skilled yet often overlooked talent by connecting them with jobs that offer career growth and economic mobility," said Michelle Sims, CEO of YUPRO Placement. "We are proud to expand our efforts across the Bay Area, enabling more residents to build valuable skills through alternative pathways, including supportive nonprofit training and workforce development programs. We see tremendous opportunity for talent to launch a thriving career given the breadth and volume of opportunity in property management."

Program participants will be matched with employers for property management roles upon completing a paid industry-specific training program provided by JobTrain. The training and employment opportunities also provide support services to help participants stay housed long-term.

Emily Schaffer, YUPRO Placement's VP of Strategic Alliances, is leading this partnership and effort. She shared, "Building on a decade of partnering with local nonprofits in the Bay Area to connect skilled talent with professional opportunities among top employers, YUPRO Placement is excited to expand our portfolio to include property management roles. We deeply appreciate the vital work of nonprofit organizations in developing talent within our communities and remain committed to collaborating with employers to ensure every individual in the program receives the support they need to thrive in their new role."

YUPRO Placement's goal is to become the leading provider of skills-based talent for the supportive housing community in Northern California, with plans to expand into other high-demand markets including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, and Seattle. By bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, YUPRO Placement and its partners are helping to build stronger communities and a more inclusive workforce.
