Top Student Innovators across the United States Showcase Projects at the Second Annual National STEM Festival, Presented by EXPLR
The Public is Invited to Explore Student STEM Projects on Saturday, March 22nd, in Washington, D.C.
NEW YORK, March 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- EXPLR is presenting the second-annual National STEM Festival, March 19-22, in Washington, D.C.Student Champions from 47 states and four U.S. territories will present their groundbreaking STEM projects to the public and senior government and business leaders.
The National STEM Festival highlights student-led solutions addressing critical global challenges. 103 students who had top-scoring projects in the National STEM Challenge, will showcase their projects at a public expo on Saturday, March 22. The public is invited to see all students' STEM projects on Saturday, March 22, from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Advance registration is required online. New to the expo this year is an interactive showcase with over 20 hands-on STEM experiences, design & make activities, bottle rocket launches and giveaways for families and kids of all ages.

The student innovators will also have networking opportunities, including small group discussions and the opportunity to present their projects to leaders from U.S. government agencies and top businesses who are looking for the next generation of innovators. Leaders and professionals from Co-Presenting Sponsors Autodesk, Broadcom Foundation, and The Square will be joined by participating organizations including Booz Allen, George Mason University, Google, Nokia, Project Management Institute, and The State University of New York (SUNY). EXPLR's STEM Week 2025
In addition to the Festival, EXPLR has launched STEM Week. From March 14-23, the public can discover a world of innovation and discovery through more than 100 in-person and virtual STEM events across the country. Organized by museums, libraries, and other STEM-focused organizations, these free events offer a wide variety of hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and inspiring talks suitable for all ages.
