Shares rose after the company announced a $6.2 billion all-cash go-private deal with Mubadala Capital and TWG Global. Investors are watching for information about closing conditions and shareholder responses. Trading volume reached 63.9 million shares, about 1,819% above its three-month average of 3.3 million shares. Clear Channel Outdoor IPO'd in 2005 and has fallen 88% since going public.S&P 500 slipped 0.36% to 6,940, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.59% to 23,102 as large-cap growth names dropped.
