In his dual role, Hoffman brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, operational excellence, and legal affairs to support 2F's mission of enabling government access to commercially proven software as a service (SaaS) applications. His diverse background, spanning executive leadership, legal practice, and professional sports, brings to 2F a unique combination of strategic vision and operational expertise.

Hoffman's career spans over two decades of service in various capacities. Currently, Hoffman is a venture advisor at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), where he works with NEA's portfolio companies to drive sustainable growth and maximize leadership teams' impact and strategic and operational decision-making.

Prior to NEA, Hoffman served as Senior Partner, Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel at Echo, a diversified private equity and venture capital firm with over $1.3 billion in assets under management. In this role, he drove operations, led team development, directed legal and compliance efforts, and developed growth and risk management strategies for portfolio companies.

Before Echo, Hoffman served as President, COO & Chief Legal Officer at Le-Vel, a CPG e-commerce company, where he led the company's growth from a startup to a market leader. During his tenure, the business scaled from a handful of employees to $600 million in annual revenue, operations on four continents, and employees across dozens of states and multiple countries.

Hoffman holds a JD/MBA from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Communications Arts and Sciences from Penn State University. He began his career as a professional soccer player in the Czech Republic and Germany, bringing a unique perspective on teamwork and performance to his leadership roles.
