The three executives will report to Northern Light CEO David Seuss and collaborate to execute an aggressive company expansion initiative funded by a recent $23 million growth capital investment by LoneTree Capital.
Kelly and Bennett are new to the company; Larsen is a long-time Northern Light employee. "Expanding our senior leadership team is the first step in taking Northern Light to the next level," Seuss said. "David, Lindsay and Sheri all have extraordinary skills and experience to help drive our sales, service, product and geographic expansion in the months and years ahead."
David Kelly, Chief Financial Officer
David Kelly joins Northern Light from SiteSpect, the leading SaaS platform for A/B testing and product experimentation, where he was CFO. Previously, Kelly served as CFO at Aspen Publishing, a leading publisher of law school texts and materials, and at Qstream, a SaaS platform for microlearning solutions for enterprise customers. Kelly's experience includes building efficient finance and operations teams, strategic planning, and implementing systems to drive financial clarity and operational excellence. He earned his BS of accountancy and MBA from Bentley University.
"I'm extremely excited to join Northern Light at the beginning of the company's next phase of growth," Kelly said. "I look forward to formalizing and bringing structure to the finance, reporting and operational metrics processes of the business."
Lindsay Bennett, Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Lindsay Bennett will spearhead Northern Light's global revenue strategy. Bennett will be responsible for uniting the company's sales and marketing teams, strengthening customer success initiatives, and identifying new growth opportunities across sectors such as life sciences, information technology, and telecommunications. Her leadership will focus on expanding Northern Light's global footprint, refining marketing efforts, and enhancing the company's brand positioning to support long-term business growth.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, Bennett brings a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth and operational excellence in dynamic, high-growth environments. Prior to joining Northern Light, she served as Chief Revenue Officer at NewtonX, a leading B2B market research company, where she achieved 260% annual revenue growth through innovative, data-driven sales and marketing strategies. Bennett has also held senior leadership roles at Gartner, Seismic, and Skillsoft, where she consistently delivered exceptional results by optimizing customer experiences and developing forward-thinking revenue strategies. She earned a BA from Muhlenberg College.
"I am excited to join Northern Light at such a pivotal moment in its journey," said Bennett. "Working alongside this talented team to further develop revenue strategies, elevate marketing initiatives, and deliver transformative solutions to clients is an incredible opportunity. I look forward to building on Northern Light's strong foundation and driving its next phase of growth."
Sheri Larsen, Chief Product Officer
Sheri Larsen leads Northern Light's overall product strategy and vision, driving innovation and overseeing the development and delivery of Northern Light's solutions. Larsen will continue to manage key functions, including software engineering, data engineering, content operations, IT/DevOps, software quality assurance, project management, and information security compliance functions; and, as part of her expanded leadership responsibilities, she will also establish and lead Northern Light's new product management function. Larsen has been with Northern Light since its founding, most recently as senior vice president of product design and delivery. Prior to Northern Light, Larsen was director of e-commerce and online marketing at Quinlan Publishing, a publisher of newsletters for law enforcement personnel, education professionals, lawyers, and other professionals, which was acquired by Thomson Reuters.
