For 2024, revenues were $10.82 billion, up 8% year over year, driven by growth in North America, partially offset by lower revenues from the U.K. Home Office related to the Airwave Charge Control and the exit from the Emergency Services Network (ESN) contract . Region-wise, quarterly revenues increased 9% year over year in North America to $2.2 billion from $2.02 billion due to growth in LMR, command center software and video security products. International revenues decreased 3% year over year to $807 million from $832 million, primarily driven by lower Ukraine revenues and the exit from the ESN contract, partially offset by growth in Video and Command Center. Acquisitions contributed $37 million to revenues, while foreign exchange tailwinds were $6 million.Segmental PerformanceNet sales from Products and Systems Integration increased to $1.95 billion from $1.89 billion in the year-ago quarter, driven by higher demand for LMR and video security solutions. The segment revenues matched our estimates of $1.06 billion. The segment’s backlog was up $1.3 billion to $10.6 billion due to strong demand for all three technologies. Other Quarterly DetailsGAAP operating earnings increased to $814 million from $738 million in the prior-year quarter, driven primarily by a recovery related to the Hytera litigation. Non-GAAP operating earnings improved to $916 million from $870 million. The company ended the quarter with a record backlog of $14.7 billion, up $438 million year over year. Overall GAAP operating margin was 27%, up from 25.9%, while non-GAAP operating margin was 30.4% compared with 30.5% in the year-ago quarter. Non-GAAP operating earnings for Products and Systems Integration increased 5% year over year to $594 million from $567 million for a margin of 30.5%. The uptick was driven by higher sales, a favorable mix and lower direct material costs. Non-GAAP operating earnings for Software and Services were $322 million, up 6% year over year, for a non-GAAP operating margin of 30.3%.Cash Flow and LiquidityMotorola generated $1.07 billion in cash from operating activities in the reported quarter compared with an operating cash flow of $1.25 billion a year ago, bringing the respective tallies for 2024 and 2023 to $2.39 billion and $2.04 billion. Free cash flow in the fourth quarter was $983 million. During the quarter, the company repurchased $103 million worth of stock.
