Leap Announces Winners of the 2025 Live and Learn Scholarship
JERSEY CITY, N.J., March 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Leap is proud to announce the winners of its annual Live and Learn Scholarship, an initiative designed to support students residing in housing communities backed by Leap's Guarantor Waiver Program. This year, Leap awarded a total of $50,000 in scholarships to students who shared their unique perspectives on affordable student housing and the impact of housing on mental well-being.
The Live and Learn Scholarship invited students to submit essays on one of two key topics:
- Affordable Student Housing – Exploring financial barriers and potential solutions to make housing more accessible.
- Community and Mental Well-being in Housing – Examining how student housing affects mental health and ways to foster a supportive environment.
With over 250 submissions from students nationwide, the top 25 essays were carefully reviewed by the Leap Student Housing Advisory Board, comprised of industry leaders in the student housing sector. The winners were selected based on their insight, creativity, and real-world experiences.
