PITTSBURGH, March 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "We wanted to provide baseball players with a new training aid that would offer added resistance when practicing a level swing," said one of three inventors, from Altadena, Calif., "so we invented THE WORKOUT BAT. Our design would help a player strengthen the muscles in his hands, wrists, and arms, which could enhance power and control."

The invention provides an effective training aid for baseball players. In doing so, it would require the player to work harder when bringing the bat around and attempting to keep it level during a swing. As a result, it increases hand, wrist, and arm strength. The invention features an adjustable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for baseball and softball players. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
