"Genesis is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire the next generation," said Brandon Ramirez, director, corporate social responsibility, Genesis Motor America. "By investing in STEAM and arts education, we provide youth with tools that unlock their potential, encourage creativity, and fuel a passion for learning. Programs like these are essential in empowering young minds and preparing them for their bright futures."

Genesis Inspiration Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant to Breakthrough Miami, an organization that uses a "students-teaching-students" model to create a rigorous, vibrant learning community. Breakthrough Miami annually supports 1,600 high-potential 5th-12th graders, helping them achieve post-secondary success through an eight-year cost-free journey that includes six-week summer institutes and school year programs. Funding will enhance Breakthrough Miami's arts-focused education, engaging 6th-grade Scholars in dynamic programming that cultivates art appreciation, visual literacy, critical thinking, creative expression, and leadership development. Advancing year-round out-of-school arts learning across seven Breakthrough sites in South Florida, this investment empowers Scholars to use the arts as a tool for addressing community needs and opportunities while introducing new program elements, including a student-designed culminating gallery experience.

At the Rita & Rick Case Club, Genesis hosted a STEAM workshop from Child Creativity Lab for middle and high school students. After learning about the product development process, students were given an advanced technology demonstration of an electrified Genesis vehicle featuring recycled materials and zero emissions. They then sketched and built their own unique future mobility vehicles using upcycled materials. By combining education with hands-on learning, this workshop helped spark curiosity, foster out-of-the-box thinking, and inspire future innovators.
