Ecosave Partners with Las Vegas Motor Speedway to drive sustainability at NASCAR Craftsman Truck race as title sponsor
LAS VEGAS, Feb. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Las Vegas Motor Speedway has implemented green initiatives for many years, but the March 14 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race will mark a new milestone for LVMS's efforts thanks to their greenest partner yet. Ecosave, a leader in reducing carbon emissions in commercial and industrial buildings, has joined forces with LVMS to sponsor the Ecosave 200 and become the Official Energy Efficiency Provider of Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
"This is a tremendous new venture for all of Speedway Motorsports and NASCAR in general," said Kevin Camper, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Speedway Motorsports. "Ecosave is readily recognized for both its ability to work with its customers and partners to become more energy efficient but also use such realized efficiencies for profitability. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship between our two organizations."
Las Vegas Motor Speedway has long been dedicated to energy efficiency, dating back to the construction of the Neon Garage in 2007 that is powered by geothermal energy. The speedway has also been at the forefront of environmental preservation through its recycling at events as well as its large-scale LED lighting upgrades for energy conservation.
"We can't think of a better place to make our initial voyage into NASCAR than in Las Vegas and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway," said Ecosave CEO Kevin Madden. "The entire NASCAR community has made great strides in energy efficiency over the past few years, and we look forward to playing a major role to further develop and amplify that strategy both in the short term and for the future."
The Ecosave 200 will kick off three days of NASCAR racing on the superspeedway including The LiUNA NASCAR Xfinity race on Saturday, March 15, and headlined by the Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jiffy Lube on Sunday, March 16. There also will be two nights of the Kubota High Limit Sprint Car Series on the speedway's half-mile dirt oval on March 13 and 15. Tickets are available by clicking here.
