A $10,000 investment in this popular tech giant 20 years ago would be worth nearly $2.5 million today. Credit the invention of the iPhone, mostly.The argument that Apple's highest growth days are in the past, however, is a reasonable one. Neither the iPhone's revenue nor unit sales of the popular smartphone are growing, and it alone still accounts for about half of the company's top and bottom lines.
