Alongside the new developments across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the destination is proud to celebrate the nomination of two James Beard 2025 Restaurant and Chef Award semifinalists for the James Beard Awards® presented by Capital One.

The 2025 James Beard nominees further propel the destination's culinary offerings to new heights. Highlights include:

  • Local chefs Austin Sumrall and Tresse Sumrall at the ever-favorite farm-to-table local restaurant, White Pillars in Biloxi, have received a nomination for Best Chef: South.
