Urodynamics pioneer and four urology sales/marketing veterans will drive company growth

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bright Uro, a medical device company with a mission to transform care for lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) through innovations in urodynamics, today announced the appointment of its new Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Scott MacDiarmid.

Dr. MacDiarmid is a highly respected expert in urology, voiding dysfunction and urodynamics. He authored The Art of Voiding Dysfunction (LUTS): Diagnosis to Treatment Pathways in 2024 and co-authored Urodynamics Made Easy, now in its 4th edition, as well as many articles on the topic. He is currently Director of the Alliance Urology Specialists Bladder Control Center in Greensboro, NC and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.

Kristen Comstock, Vice President of Marketing, has spent most of her 20-year sales and marketing career in the urology field. 

Chris Runkle, Vice President of Sales, is a 30-year sales leadership veteran with a well-documented track record of building and leading high performing teams across the U.S.

Ben Abramowitz, West Regional Sales Director, has 25 years of experience in the fields of urology and gynecology clinical sales.

Jim Monacelli, North Regional Sales Director, has 29 years' experience in the urology field including sales training and medical education.
