Talenti and Chef Dominique Ansel Raise the Jar to Celebrate the New Layers Bakery Collection with a Limited-Edition Dessert: The Dipped Whisk

The Dipped Whisk is available only at Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City from March 28-30, and this collaboration marks the start of Dominique Ansel's new Chef Ambassador title with Talenti.

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., March 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- This year, Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto, the #1 best-selling gelato brand in the U.S., is raising the jar of its unique Layers line by introducing the Bakery Collection. The three brand-new baking-inspired flavors – Chocolate Chip Cookie Batter, Italian Tiramisu and Snickerdoodle Cookie – invite tastebuds to indulge in a delicious frozen version of their favorite sweet bakery treat.

And to celebrate their debut, Talenti is partnering with world-renowned pastry virtuoso Chef Dominique Ansel to create a first-of-its-kind, elevated dessert experience: The Dipped Whisk. 

The limited-edition Dipped Whisk is Ansel's first exploration within the Talenti portfolio amidst his Chef Ambassador partnership with Talenti. Chef Ansel will become the brand's first-ever Chef Ambassador, where he will inform future flavors and new recipes for the brand.

Introducing "The Dipped Whisk" 
Crafted with the ingredients found across the new Talenti Layers Bakery Collection, the limited-edition Dipped Whisk is a handheld dessert served atop a keepsake golden whisk. Chef Dominique Ansel was inspired by the elements within the Bakery Collection and by the nostalgic experience of licking batter from a whisk while baking.

Each layer of The Dipped Whisk evokes one of the flavors found within the Chocolate Chip Cookie Batter, Italian Tiramisu and Snickerdoodle Cookie Bakery Collection products:

  • Madagascan Vanilla Bean Gelato
  • Rich espresso fudge sauce
  • Crunchy stacks of shortbread, chocolate, and snickerdoodle cookies
  • All nestled inside a crisp vanilla wafer cone and dipped in a light and creamy vanilla Chantilly for an elegant finish.

The Dipped Whisk will be available exclusively at Dominique Ansel Bakery (189 Spring Street, New York, NY 10012) in New York City for one weekend only, from Friday, March 28Sunday, March 30. A limited supply of 100 hand-crafted Dipped Whisks will be available for FREE from 8AM daily, on a first-come first-served basis.
