PRINCETON, N.J., March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Learning Ally, a national nonprofit working with U.S. schools to strengthen reading outcomes for students with learning differences, announces that their 10th Spotlight on Dyslexia virtual conference is set for June 4–5, 2025. This premier conference provides research insights, practical strategies, and inspirational stories to empower and energize educators in helping students with dyslexia succeed.

In honor of Spotlight on Dyslexia's 10th year, educators, community leaders, and parents will be given free Silver Ticket access to keynotes, EdTalks, and select presentations covering the latest dyslexia research, comprising over 5 hours of CE certificates for professional development. Full Gold Ticket access to this 2-day event, including 37 full sessions from 46 speakers, is also available to ensure educators can support the needs of struggling readers (35+ hours of CE certificates).

Spotlight on Dyslexia 2025 attendees will have opportunities to:

  • Educate themselves about how to spot early signs of dyslexia, understand screening and assessment data, and know when and what accommodations to provide;
  • Empower themselves to use evidence-based literacy instruction and understand learning differences; and
  • Elevate their school's literacy instruction and implement appropriate systems of support so that all students learn to read.

Keynote speakers for 2025 are Dr. Hugh Catts, Professor of the School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University and a past board member of the International Dyslexia Association, and Dr. Maryanne Wolf, Director of the Center for Dyslexia, Diverse Learners, and Social Justice at the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies.

"The quality of speakers and the extensive expertise at our 10th Spotlight on Dyslexia virtual conference truly reflect Learning Ally's 77-year history and mission of supporting struggling readers, including those with dyslexia," says Tim Wilson, interim CEO of Learning Ally. "We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with such leaders in dyslexia research and instruction, and we are proud to share this experience with the broader community—including those new to assisting students with dyslexia."

In addition, this year's virtual experience offers:

  • An impactful dyslexia simulation to reveal some of the challenges students face and aid understanding of how to support them effectively
  • Tailored learning tracks designed for Administrators, General Educators, and Specialists, including discussions focused on system-wide literacy solutions
