Southwest Airlines Co. (LUV) reported first-quarter 2025 loss of 13 cents per share, which was wider than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 18 cents. Interest expenses are expected to be $39 million in the second quarter.LUV continues to anticipate its 2025 capital expenditure in the range of $2.5 billion to $3.0 billion.Since it is difficult to estimate recent and short-lived booking trends amid the current macroeconomic uncertainty, LUV is not reaffirming its full-year 2025 or 2026 EBIT guidance.
