Slack Davis Sanger Congratulates Launch of Jose & Vaughn, PLLC

AUSTIN, Texas, March 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael L. Slack, Managing Partner of Slack Davis Sanger, L.L.P. and John Jose, Managing Partner of the newly formed firm of Jose & Vaughn, PLLC, jointly released the following statement:

On behalf of Slack Davis Sanger, L.L.P., I wish to congratulate my long and dear friend, John Jose, on the establishment of his new firm, Jose & Vaughn.  John joined our firm as a partner in 2012 when we established our Fort Worth office.  Since 2012, John has led our Fort Office as its Managing Partner with distinction and considerable success handling numerous complex personal injury and death cases for Slack Davis Sanger.  In 2020, the firm hired Dillon Vaughn, then a recent graduate of the Texas A&M University School of Law, and he joined John in the Fort Worth office.  Dillon has demonstrated that he is a rising star in the plaintiffs' bar and is practicing well beyond his years of experience as a lawyer.  When John approached me about leaving to establish a new firm with Dillon, I gave him my unqualified endorsement and encouragement to open his own firm in his beloved hometown of Fort Worth.  We will miss having them as part of our firm but our relationship with John and Dillon, both personal and professional, has continued without interruption.  We are already working and collaborating with John and Dillon as if they are still with Slack Davis Sanger.
