SBCA Releases New Edition of BCSI
IRVING, Texas, March 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) is excited to share the release of the newest edition of the Building Component Safety Information (BCSI) Guide, BCSI-2025. This newly revised and updated guide will provide users with an easy to understand, and use, resource that provides background information, jobsite safety information, as well as prescriptive recommendations for the safe installation and bracing of floor and roof trusses.
The new version of BCSI represents a complete revision to the formatting and updates to specific best practices, while maintaining prior context. Most notably, the historic B-series arrangement of the information has been transformed into chapter layout to streamline content in a chronological order and reduce content redundancy. This 3-hole punched, spiral bound book includes the most current information regarding the handling, installation, restraining and bracing of metal plate connected wood trusses.
