Gravity Named a CDP Accredited Solutions Provider, Launches Direct Reporting Integration
Becomes CDP's first Sustainable Finance Solutions Provider in North America
SAN FRANCISCO, April 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Gravity, the leading enterprise carbon accounting and energy management platform, today announced that it has been named an accredited solutions provider (ASP) with CDP, the world's only independent environmental disclosure system. With this accreditation, CDP recommends Gravity as a preferred provider to the nearly 25,000 companies around the world that report carbon emissions and other sustainability data.
CDP has also recognized Gravity as the first Sustainable Finance ASP in North America for the company's expertise and track record in helping private equity firms and other financial institutions measure and report on their portfolio emissions and implement energy efficiency projects that save them money.
"The addition of Gravity into our network of accredited solutions providers will bring highly valued expertise to the thousands of companies using CDP to disclose their environmental data and support them in implementing leading actions to manage risks and reduce their impacts," commented Jackie Davis, Global Head of Accredited Solutions Providers at CDP. "We are confident that Gravity's capabilities will be useful, and we are glad to accredit them as a valued, high-quality service provider."
In addition to Gravity's industry-leading data ingestion tools, Gravity streamlines disclosure to CDP for its customers by integrating with the non-profit's API. In the 2025 disclosure cycle, Gravity customers will be able to collaborate on their CDP answers and report to CDP directly from the Gravity platform, including emissions data, energy consumption, and narrative questions. This integration will allow organizations to save time on climate reporting and invest more in climate action, including cost-saving energy efficiency projects.
"Against the backdrop of ever-changing reporting requirements and expectations, it's critical for global organizations to be able to easily collect, analyze, and disclose their emissions and energy data," said Jay Ruckelshaus, PhD, Head of Partnerships and Policy at Gravity. "CDP has been at the forefront of climate disclosure for more than two decades, and we're excited to partner with them as we help the world's leading companies and financial institutions reduce their emissions, energy usage, and costs."
In addition to CDP, Gravity powers climate disclosure for a variety of voluntary and mandatory disclosure frameworks, including the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), California's Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act (CCDAA), the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the UK's Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), and more.
