FlyGuys Partners with AviNation for the AviNation American Dream Tour, Bringing Hands-On Drone Demonstrations to Inspire Future Aviation Leaders
LAFAYETTE, La., March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- FlyGuys, a nationwide reality data capture tech company, is excited to announce its partnership with AviNation for the AviNation American Dream Tour at David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy on March 25. This immersive event gives high school students the opportunity to connect with aviation and aerospace professionals, explore career paths, and gain firsthand experience with cutting-edge technology.
As part of the event, FlyGuys will educate alongside live drone demonstrations, allowing students to see professional drone technology in action and learn about its applications in various industries in need of data capture.
For the demonstrations, drone instruction for students will be supported by the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Assistant Professor of Aviation, Darrion Flunder-Jenkins, further enhancing the educational experience and providing expert insights into drone operations and career opportunities in aviation technology.
The AviNation American Dream Tour brings together commercial pilots, drone pilots, helicopter pilots, agricultural pilots, A&P mechanics, airport managers, air traffic controllers, FBO managers, meteorologists, engineers, avionics technicians, and more to share their career journeys and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.
"AviNation is thrilled to have FlyGuys as a partner for this year's tour. Their drone demonstrations will give students a firsthand look at how aviation technology is evolving and expanding into new industries. Hands-on experiences like these are what make this event truly impactful," said Tom Flavin of AviNation.
FlyGuys, known for its expertise in reality data capture and drone technology, aims to inspire students by showcasing how uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) are transforming data collection, mapping, and analysis across multiple industries.
"FlyGuys is passionate about education and workforce development. Through our partnership with AviNation, we're not just talking about career opportunities—we're showing students what's possible. By giving them hands-on experience with drone technology, we hope to spark interest in the future of aviation and data capture," said Whitney, VP of Marketing at FlyGuys.
