BANGKOK, Feb. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is building on the remarkable success of its lucky draw activity for traveling couples and families by introducing even more unforgettable prizes, including free stays in luxury presidential suites, international flight tickets, curated dining experiences, and premium spa packages. These special prizes for February 14 are part of the month-long Amazing Thailand Romance Month Campaign, during which TAT has set up booths at Thailand's four most-visited airports for a lucky draw event running from February 1 to 16, 2025. With simple registration, traveling couples and families have the chance to win suite stays and many other exciting prizes curated from over 60 partner companies. TAT hopes to strengthen Thailand's position as a top global romantic destination for all couples, whether straight or LGBTQ+.
To participate, traveling couples or families simply need to visit Bangkok, Phuket, or Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, they will be welcomed at the Amazing Romance booths located at the airports, where they can come and draw the ballot for a chance to win prizes that could transform their romantic getaway into an extravagant and unforgettable Amazing Thailand experience. These activity booths are available at four airports managed by Airports of Thailand (AOT): Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok, Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), and Phuket International Airport (HKT).
TAT has partnered with over 60 organizations, including airlines, luxury hotels and resorts, premium spas, exquisite restaurants, must-visit attractions, and world-famous shopping malls, to offer a wide array of prizes. This year, Thailand is even more confident in solidifying its global reputation as a romantic destination, especially after the passing of the "Equal Marriage Law" (also known as "Som-rod Tao Tiam").
In addition to the highlighted lucky draw activity, TAT will also be giving special souvenirs to all participating couples and families as a token of appreciation for choosing Thailand as their romantic getaway destination. The campaign encourages travelers to enjoy unique experiences inspired by the "5 Must-Do Experiences in Thailand," which include:
- Must Taste: Indulge in Thailand's world-famous cuisine.
- Must Try: Engage in local cultural activities such as traditional crafts or the martial art of Muay Thai.
- Must Buy: Discover exquisite Thai products like silk and jewelry.
- Must Seek: Explore breathtaking landscapes and hidden gems on both land and water.
- Must See: Visit iconic landmarks and cultural attractions that Thais hold dear.
As this Amazing Thailand Romance Month campaign will be running for the whole of February, traveling couples or families during this month can enjoy special perks and privileges gathered just for them. However, for those who are still single but ready to mingle, Thailand also offers a lot of spiritually infused places that the locals believe to bring them the person they are looking for. The examples are Lakshmi Shrine, Uma Devi goddess at Sri Maha Mariamman Temple (Wat Khaek), and Dev Mandir Temple, where you can pray to Sri Krishna and Radha Devi.
Thailand is eagerly awaiting travelers from around the world, especially couples and families, to participate in the Amazing Thailand Romance Month Privileges and make their trip unforgettable. This Valentine's Day, let Thailand offer you an extraordinary romantic experience that will be cherished for years to come.
