Game-changing upgrades featuring sustainable turf and energy-efficient stadium lighting to modernize the sports facility

LAFAYETTE, La., Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sustainability Partners, a Public Benefit Company and leader in sustainable infrastructure funding, deployment and ongoing maintenance, has announced its ongoing partnership with Lafayette Christian Academy to upgrade the school's softball and baseball facilities. The comprehensive project includes the installation of a new turf field for their softball field and new stadium lighting for both their softball and baseball fields, providing a sustainable solution that enhances both functionality and aesthetics.

"Sustainability Partners has been an incredible ally in helping us bring our vision for modern, sustainable athletic facilities to life," said Sterling Miller, CFO of Lafayette Christian Academy. "This project not only enhances the experience for our student-athletes and fans but also reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement."

The field transformation aims to create a modern venue that will provide a more attractive site for fans to attend games while offering easier maintenance compared to traditional grass fields. The upgraded facility is also designed to encourage greater use by local community youth teams, extending the field's impact beyond the academy's student body.

This collaboration builds on the successful partnership between Sustainability Partners and Lafayette Christian Academy, which previously worked together on improvements for the school's football stadium. The proven track record of their joint efforts has paved the way for this latest infrastructure enhancement.

"Lafayette Christian Academy is special and they have an important mission in educating future leaders of our society. Our investment helps the LCA team deliver on their mission. Sustainability Partners can help private schools like LCA make the upgrades they need to drive enrollment and provide an optimal experience for students and visitors while preserving capital," said Jason Hewitt, managing partner of infrastructure for Sustainability Partners.

Construction on the softball field project commenced in September, with completion scheduled for the end of January 2026 prior to the spring's softball season, allowing student athletes to benefit from the improved playing conditions from day one.
