GiGi's Playhouse Celebrates 22nd Anniversary with Annual 'i have a voice' Gala
CHICAGO, Feb. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GiGi's Playhouse, the only international network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers, will host its annual "i have a voice" Gala on Saturday, February 22, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. This black-tie event will celebrate the organization's growth and its mission to provide over 30,000 individuals with free, life-changing resources and programs.
This year's gala will be co-hosted by supermodel, actress, and advocate Amanda Booth. She will host alongside GiGi Gianni, the 22-year-old namesake of GiGi's Playhouse, who has inspired countless individuals with her advocacy and achievements.
"The 'i have a voice' gala is one of my favorite GiGi's Playhouse events because it brings the entire community together," said Nancy Gianni, Founder and Chief Belief Officer of GiGi's Playhouse. "22 years ago, we opened our first Playhouse. We've now opened 61 Playhouses and are continuing to grow. I'm so excited to celebrate 22 years of free programs, belief, inspiration, and achievement."
The night of celebration will also focus on siblings, highlighting several prominent sibling pairings inside the Down syndrome community, such as influencers Zach and Pat Valentine and influencers Anya and Valeriia Litvinova. The action-packed night will also feature live music from Chicago's7th Heaven and a silent and live auction.
Funds raised from 'i have a voice' gala will directly support GiGi's Playhouse's ongoing efforts to provide free educational, therapeutic, and career development programs to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. With over 340,000 hours of free programming annually, GiGi's Playhouse continues to transform lives and spread the message of acceptance and inclusion.
