GAP Unveils Revamped ByteInsight for Legacy Code Analysis, Launches VB6 Migration Promo

  • Directory Path Exclusion: Users can now tell ByteInsight to ignore specified folders (like bin, obj, or third-party libraries), leading to cleaner reports and faster scans focused on relevant code.
  • UI Improements: Various quality-of-life improvements streamline the user experience, such as hiding irrelevant sections based on scan results.

Further supporting developers facing modernization hurdles, GAP is launching Operation: VB6 Freedom, a special VBUC promotion running for six weeks from April 21st until June 3rd, 2025:
