The Portfolio sustainable investment objective is to invest in a range of assets which the Investment Manager believes will contribute to climate change mitigation. Through this objective, the Portfolio aims to generate capital growth over the medium to long term. The Portfolio will seek to achieve its objective by providing risk-controlled exposure to the assets selected which are deemed by the Investment Manager to be aligned with the transition to a low carbon economy and contributing to climate change mitigation (“climate-aligned”) using environmental metrics, through allocating all or substantially all of its assets in accordance with a proprietary quantitative model, the strategy. The Portfolio aims to provide a return stream with a stable level of volatility regardless of market conditions.
