Parks Associates data shows that 55% of US internet households find the ability to see disaggregated energy insights valuable. Energy efficiency is the top reason that consumers are integrating and coordinating their devices in their home. As consumers prioritize energy efficiency, utilities and energy providers have an opportunity to integrate smart thermostats, connected lighting, and energy monitoring systems into their programs.
