Hammes celebrates completion of Moffitt Cancer Center at SouthShore in Ruskin, Florida

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Hammes, a national real estate consulting, development, investment and management firm, is proud to celebrate the completion of the new Moffitt Cancer Center at SouthShore, which opened to patients on January 27. The new 75,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art ambulatory facility is located south of Tampa in Ruskin, Florida.

Moffitt at SouthShore offers cancer screenings, diagnostic imaging, blood draw and clinical labs, medical oncology clinics, radiation therapy and infusion services.

Hammes served as project manager for Moffitt's SouthShore facility and is also engaged as project manager for their SPEROS FL development in Pasco County, Florida. Opening in 2026, the Speros project consists of a new 120,000-square-foot ambulatory center, including a 30,000-square-foot proton therapy center, and a 240,000-square-foot research facility.
