The sub-fund’s objective is to obtain the highest overall return possible for its shareholders by investing mainly in euro-denominated bonds or euro-bonds issued by Member States of the European Union participating in the Economic and Monetary Union (“EMU”) and having an investment grade rating. The sub-fund is a tracker fund whose objective is to replicate as closely as possible the JP Morgan EMU Government Investment Grade Bond Index (the “Index”) in order to offer a performance comparable to that of this Index. With a view to achieving this objective, the Manager implements an index management strategy. The sub-fund’s portfolio is indexed geographically to the Index.
